6 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel went 2-for-4 in the Astros 2-1 loss to the A's Wednesday night. Gurriel is enjoying a fast start to his season and is slashing .327/.357/.538 in 13 games played in the month of April. Gurriel may not flash elite power at the first base position but is a doubles machine and already has seven of them this season through 65 at-bats. Gurriel's fantasy value is probably best utilized in deeper leagues, but he is an above-average offensive player that is swinging a hot bat right now.--Joey C - RotoBaller
