Yuli Gurriel To Play Third Base Tuesday
7 years agoHouston Astros infielder Yuli Gurriel will move over from first base to play third Tuesday night against the Rays. Gurriel has started 50 games at first this season, but this will mark only the third start all season at the hot corner. The move coincides with the first night off of the season for Jose Altuve, and Alex Bregman will move over and play second base. Gurriel's hot bat stays in the lineup against the Rays' Blake Snell, whom Gurriel is 3-for-6 lifetime against with two doubles. The recently turned 34-year-old has been on fire recently, posting six multi-hit games over his last eight games played. He currently is slashing .371/.391/.500 in the month of June with 15 runs batted in and is worth a look in daily leagues for Tuesday.
