4 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel went 3-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored in the Astros 6-3 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday. Gurriel is off to a scorching start in the month of June, going 9-for-19 (.474) with two extra-base hits, three runs batted in and five runs scored spanning six games. Gurriel now leads the Astros with 41 runs batted in for the season and is slashing .325/.397/.528 through 197 at-bats this season. There are a lot of big-name first baseman in the game today that draw more fanfare, but Gurriel continues to deliver elite production at the position.--Joey C - RotoBaller
