6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Yusei Kikuchi was touched up for six runs (four earned) over five innings of work as the club was edged out 10-8 to the White Sox on Friday. The lefty ended up with a no-decision, but it wasn't his sharpest outing to date as the Sox scored three runs in each of the first two innings. Kikuchi settled down after that, retiring the last seven batters faced, and he ended up with four strikeouts to just one walk. Kikuchi's next start will come against the Kansas City Royals, who have struggled against southpaws this season, giving him a tremendous bounce-back opportunity.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
