6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi will make a normal start in his next outing Saturday in Oakland over the weekend, according to manager Scott Servais. Kikuchi's next abbreviated one-inning outing will likely come sometime in his next 3-4 outings, as the Mariners are following a pitching plan to limit Kikuchi's initial workload as he transitions to the MLB. The 27-year-old rookie has logged 60 1/3 innings with three wins, 49 strikeouts and a 3.43 ERA. Kikuchi should be owned in standard mixed leagues.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
