3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Yusmeiro Petit pitched a clean seventh inning to earn his 15th hold of the season Saturday at the Rangers. Petit has been one of the most valuable relievers in the league this season as he's got seven wins to go with his 15 holds and his 44 appearances lead all pitchers as we enter the All-Star break. Petit should continue to see plenty of high-leverage work for manager Bob Melvin making him a solid fantasy option in leagues that value holds. He doesn't have much value in most leagues, however, as his 12.8 percent strikeout rate and lack of save opportunities make him an afterthought in traditional fantasy formats.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
