4 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfield prospect Yusniel Diaz (hip) was placed on the Minor League seven-day injured list Tuesday with a right hip strain, per MLB.com's Joe Trezza. Diaz, the O's eighth-ranked prospect has already been sidelined for a week at Triple-A Norfolk due to the issue. The 24-year-old has gone 5-for-25 with one home run in his first six games at Norfolk but had a strong spring with the O's.
