5 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Yusniel Diaz (shoulder) is expected to return to Spring Training action this weekend, according to manager Brandon Hyde. Diaz has been dealing with soreness in his left shoulder, but it is not a long-term concern. The 23-year-old is one of the Orioles' top prospects after he slashed .262/.335/.472 at Double-A Bowie in 2019. The expectation is that he will start the 2020 season at Triple-A Norfolk, but he may make his big-league debut sometime during the campaign.
