3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen finally got in the win column in Monday's 5-4 win over the Marlins. The 26-year-old pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks with five strikeouts. Gallen has gotten off to a nice start after a disappointing 2021 and is now 1-0 with a 1.27 ERA, 19 strikeouts, and four walks over 21 1/3 IP this season. However, wins may be hard to come by for Gallen, given the team's poor offensive output. His next matchup will be a tough one against the Rockies, although he will get to pitch at home.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
