4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks right-handed pitcher Zac Gallen finally proved human in his most recent outing Monday against the Giants, allowing four or more runs in a start for the first time in his career. Despite that, Gallen’s ERA still sits at 2.29 through his first eight starts in 2020, with many of his Statcast metrics ranking as above average. Despite averaging just 93.1 MPH on his fastball, Gallen has yielded very little production on the pitch with a .150 BA and .167 SLG against it. His next start has not yet been determined, but his aversion to allowing runs has made him a top tier fantasy asset in any sized format.--Jesse Borek
