4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen (forearm) is scheduled for another outing on Wednesday at the team's alternate site. Gallen was able to throw 60 pitches this past Saturday, though he was still unable to incorporate any curveballs into his arsenal, as the pitch still causes him some discomfort. Manager Torey Lovullo had said that the next step was an "all-pitch" bullpen, so perhaps the 25-year-old will be able to tap into more of his repertoire during Wednesday's session. It sounds like Gallen is making progress, which is good news for those who stashed him.--Tim Capurso
