3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen had another impressive outing on Saturday despite settling for a no-decision in his club's 4-2 loss to the Cubs. The right-hander struck out nine while allowing one run on two hits and a walk through six frames of work, with his only blemish coming off a Yan Gomes home run in the fourth inning. Gallen has now allowed two runs or fewer in all six of his starts this season as he currently sits with a stellar 1.05 ERA and 0.67 WHIP through 34 1/3 IP. He's also posted a superb 35/5 K/BB on the year as he looks to be fully past his injury-plagued 2021 campaign. He'll look to repeat this sharp performance with a rematch versus the Cubs at Wrigley Field next week.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
