6 years agoBaltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton picked up his first win of the season in Tuesday's 6-5 game against the Yankees. Britton entered in the top of the ninth inning with the game tied at five. After allowing a leadoff single, Britton got three straight outs, including two strikeouts. A walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth won the game for the O's, giving Britton the win. The lefty is now 1-0 with two saves and a 4.26 ERA in 12 2/3 IP. He hasn't pitched all that well since returning from an Achilles injury, but fantasy owners should not give up on him yet given the small sample size.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
