6 years agoBaltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton logged his first inning pitched of the season Tuesday against the Red Sox. Britton was activated from the disabled list Monday after recovering from an Achilles injury. The lefty pitched the seventh inning, allowing no runs on no hits and three walks with a strikeout. While the outing wasn't great, it was nice to see Britton in a Major League game, as it was his first outing since last September. Fantasy players will need to wait for a clear picture as to Britton's role in the Orioles bullpen, but he is worth a roster spot due to his saves potential. The Orioles will slowly ease Britton back into high-leverage situations and eventually return him to the closing role, which will hurt Brad Brach's fantasy value.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
