6 years agoMaking his first rehab appearance with the Triple-A Norfolk Tides, Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton had one strikeout over 1 1/3 hitless innings of work on Tuesday. Over three rehab appearances so far, Britton has four strikeouts and has allowed only one hit over 3 1/3 innings between Single-A, Double-A and Triple-A. Rich Dubroff of PressBoxOnline.com reports that Britton is scheduled to pitch again with Norfolk on Thursday. Britton is looking good and should be joining the Orioles soon, where he will take over once again as the closer in Baltimore.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
