6 years agoBaltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton (Achilles) will pitch with the Triple-A Norfolk Tide on Wednesday, where he is scheduled for one inning of work, according to Roch Kubatko of MASNsports. Kubatko adds that Britton is scheduled to make two appearances with Norfolk, and he is still on schedule to be activated from the disabled list sometime in early June. Brad Brach has been solid for the Orioles as their closer to start the season, but upon Britton's return, Brach will find himself back as a setup man behind the former All-Star closer.
