4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Zach Davies continues to be a disappointment for his new club. The right-hander only went four innings against the Atlanta Braves on Friday and allowed seven hits, four runs, three walks and struck out one. Davies has now allowed 11 earned runs over his last two starts. The veteran is now 1-2 with a weak 10.32 ERA. Davies relies on contact and that lowers his strikeout rate. He could be used as a streaming option in a favorable matchup, but should be avoided in all formats for now.
