7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Zach Davies went six innings, giving up four hits, one run, three walks, and struck out eight in the 5-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs. Davies has never really been a strikeout pitcher, especially last season with a K/9 of only 5.83, so this is different to see Davies striking out batters. The game puts him at a 5.40 ERA with 14 strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings pitched, and his young upside should be enough to make him a valuable fantasy asset this season.--Caden Inaba
