Zach Davies Files Away Another Outing Under Five Innings
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Zach Davies once again failed to get through five innings in Tuesday's no-decision versus the Minnesota Twins. The veteran allowed six hits, one run, zero walks and struck out three over 4 1/3 innings. Although his outing wasn't that bad, he continues to be unreliable with limited innings. For the season, Davies is 6-10 with an uninspiring 4.91 ERA. Next up will be a matchup versus a tough Cincinnati Reds offense on Monday. He can safely be ignored in all formats.
