Zach Davies Gets Lit Up In Loss
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Zach Davies continued his disappointing season with his fourth loss of the season on Friday versus the Miami Marlins. Davies got annihilated in the contest. It began with five runs in the top of the third inning and included a grand slam by outfielder Adam Duvall. Davies still managed to get through six innings, but he allowed seven hits, eight runs, three walks and only recorded two strikeouts. Davies has mostly struggled this season and should remain on the waiver wire in all formats. The veteran will bring a 4.66 ERA into Thursday's matchup versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
