Zach Davies Picks Up Another No-Decision On Tuesday
4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Zach Davies picked up another no-decision on Tuesday versus the Washington Nationals. Davies worked into the sixth inning, but was yanked after he allowed a leadoff home run to Starlin Castro and then a single to Josh Harrison. Davies would finish with a final line of seven hits, three runs, one walk and one strikeout over five innings. The veteran is now 2-2 in nine starts with a 5.58 ERA. Davies offers his most value as a streamer in favorable matchups. His next start will come against the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday.
