3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Zach Davies fell to 6-10 with Friday's loss versus the Kansas City Royals. The veteran was able to go six innings in the contest, but allowed five hits, four runs, one walk and struck out five on the evening. All four runs given up were from home runs and Salvador Perez hit two of those himself. Davies continues to have a rough season for the struggling Cubs and his poor performance raised his ERA to 5.04. Next up for Davies will be a matchup versus a tough Chicago White Sox offense.
