4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Zach Davies continues to struggle. The veteran faced the Atlanta Braves on Monday and allowed six hits, five runs, four walks and struck out four in 3 2/3 innings. Davies has really struggled this season and has now failed to go past four innings in four consecutive starts. Davies is 1-2 with an ugly 9.47 ERA and 15 walks with 14 strikeouts. Davies will look to improve versus the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday. He simply isn't providing any value to managers and he should be left on the waiver wire.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
