3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zach Eflin allowed six runs, five earned, across just 3 2/3 innings in a loss to the Marlins on Friday. Eflin allowed a base hit followed by a two-run homer to start the game and set the tone for the night. He allowed six hits and two walks as there was traffic on the bases all night before Eflin was lifted in the fourth inning. The poor performance raised Eflin's ERA to 4.17, however, his xERA of 3.73 implies he's been a tad unlucky.
