Zach Eflin Turns In Quality Start Against Marlins
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zach Eflin wasn't at his best on Monday night, but he managed to work through six innings with only three runs allowed to earn a quality start in Miami. Eflin allowed six hits and two walks while picking up six strikeouts. He took the loss in the contest to drop his record to 2-4, despite a 3.77 ERA and 1.15 WHIP. Eflin has been better than his number would indicate as his 3.01 FIP and 3.15 xFIP imply his ERA should be at least half a run lower. Eflin is a must-roster pitcher in fantasy and can be started in his next outing despite a challenging matchup in Tampa Bay.
