4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz (ankle) can likely not be relied upon to return for Sunday's contest versus Cleveland, per head coach Doug Pederson, who all but ruled the All-Pro tight end out Friday morning. Ertz was designated to return off of injured reserve earlier in the week, but he still has a practice window that would allow him to suit up in Week 12 versus Seattle. Injuries have sidetracked Ertz's 2020 campaign, as he is on pace to average a career-low 7.4 yards per reception, having reeled off an average of just 29.7 receiving yards per contest, which would be his lowest mark since his rookie year. Expect Dallas Goedert to continue seeing the vast majority of tight end targets, although Richard Rodgers has also delivered seesaw performances in Ertz's absence.--Jesse Borek
