3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz spoke to the public for the first time this season and claimed he wants to stay in Philadelphia. Dating back to the 2020 NFL season and continuing through the off-season, it seemed certain that Ertz wouldn't be on the Eagles roster come 2021, yet he still remains in the City of Brotherly Love. The 30-year-old is coming off of a terrible season, but he's just one year removed from being one of the top tight ends in the league for six consecutive seasons. Everything went wrong for the Eagles in 2020, and Ertz is definitely reaching an age where decline in skills is expected, but it happened so suddenly that some speculation is warranted. In addition to his poor performance, the former star suffered an injury in 2020, which may have hindered him while he was still on the field. Though tight end Dallas Goedert has undoubtedly surpassed him, at an ADP of 165 overall and TE18, Ertz is worth a speculative pickup to see what he looks like in Week 1.--Jordan Eisen
