4 years agoForward Zach Parise and the Minnesota Wild defeated the division-rival Colorado Avalanche by a score of 6-2 on Wednesday in Denver. Parise scored his third goal of the year in the second period on assists from Matt Dumba and Marcus Foligno. The recorded marker was the 36-year-old veteran's 800th career NHL point. He is playing on the team's third line with Ryan Hartman and Foligno. The Wild are winners of their last four games. Minnesota plays again on Friday when they host the Los Angeles Kings at the Xcel Energy Center.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
