Zach Plesac Sent Home Following Violation Of Team Rules
4 years agoCleveland Indians right-handed pitcher Zach Plesac reportedly went out from his hotel Saturday night, which is a violation of team rules as the league attempts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Plesac has gotten off to a splendid start in 2020, striking out 31.2% of batters he has faced, amassing a 1.29 ERA in his first three appearances. Cleveland had not yet announced when Plesac would be making his next start, so it’s unclear if the suspension will force him to miss any game action. With three planned off-days in the next eight days, the club could conceivably skip his spot in the rotation without conceivably taxing any of their other starters. Check back for further information when it becomes available.
