4 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Zach Plesac went five innings while allowing six earned runs on seven hits and striking out four in Tuesday night's 8-5 loss to the Chicago White Sox. It is the second time in less than a week the White Sox have gotten to him as he allowed six earned runs in his last start against them on the 14th of April. He now boasts an awful 6.76 ERA across his first 18 2/3 innings pitched to begin the season and also has just 14 strikeouts. He is not returning dividends for fantasy players that invested a top-100 pick on him but will look to rebound in his next start against the struggling New York Yankees at home on Sunday.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
