4 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Zach Plesac allowed three hits and no walks while striking out 11 across eight scoreless innings Wednesday against Cleveland. He did not factor in the decision. Plesac pitched well but did not receive any run support in this matchup. He threw 98 pitches and generated an impressive 17 called strikes and 20 swinging strikes. He allowed one extra-base hit and looked in command throughout the evening. His next start is projected for Monday at Cincinnati. If he can continue to produce swing and misses, he's a worthy start in most formats going forward.--James Stokke
