5 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski took care of both of the team's goals in Saturday's 3-2 loss to San Jose. He had five shots in total in the game with two hits and a plus-two rating. Werenski seems to have found his mojo in front of the goal, as he finished off 2019 with a hat trick against Florida. He now has 13 goals and 25 points for the season in 35 games. Only Nashville's Roman Jose has more goals among defensemen, so Werenski is quietly enjoying a pretty productive season, and he's on pace for his first 50-point year.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
