4 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Zack Britton (elbow) has started a throwing program at Yankee Stadium this week. Britton, who is on the 60-day injured list, is recovering from surgery to remove a bone chip on his throwing elbow, though he appears to be doing well, per manager Aaron Boone. Boone said that the veteran southpaw has got his range of motion back in the elbow and will start throwing, with the timetable for his return still in late-May. Britton is worth holding onto in leagues that track holds, as he tied for first in the major leagues in the statistic during his last full season with the Yankees in 2019.--Tim Capurso
