6 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder Zack Cozart will start and hit eighth Thursday against the Twins. It has been an abysmal start to the veteran's season, who comes into tonight's game hitting only .129 through 85 at-bats with only two extra-base hits. Cozart has posted only one multi-hit game all season and is only 2-for-31 hitting at home this season. This is not what either party envisioned when the Angels gave Cozart big money a season ago. There is still plenty of time to turn his season around but Cozart is trending towards not being on the club much longer if he continues to struggle at this rate moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
