7 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Zack Cozart returned to his usual spot hitting leadoff for the Angels on Thursday. After Mike Trout led off the last two games, it looks like manager Mike Scioscia has decided to return to the old lineup. That means Trout is hitting second and Shohei Ohtani, who had been batting second, is now hitting fifth. The Angels are facing right-hander Chris Archer, so it doesn't look like this is a platoon thing. If Cozart stays atop the order, his run numbers should improve. But his sub-.300 on-base percentage is not doing him or the Angels any favors.--patton
