6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starter Zack Godley picked up the win on Sunday, giving up two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over 5 2/3 innings. It was a good bounce back outing for Godley, who was rocked for seven runs in his last start. The eight strikeouts was the highest total he's recorded since April 21st. Godley hasn't been the consistent option he was last year, but starts like this demonstrate the upside he has. He'll look to build on his encouraging performance on Friday at home versus the Mets.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
