3 years agoKansas City Royals right-hander Zack Greinke pitched well in a 1-0 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday. Greinke allowed just one run over six innings of work while striking out one and walking none. Despite the solid performance, Greinke took the loss, dropping his record to 0-2 on the season. The veteran hurler has a solid 2.57 ERA but his strikeouts are practically nonexistent, with Greinke totaling just seven in 28 innings of work. While Greinke has long been a consistent fantasy producer over his career, his lack of strikeout upside leaves him as a low-end streamer in mixed fantasy leagues.
