3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Zack Littell will serve as the opener for Wednesday's game against the Texas Rangers. He will technically draw the start, but Sam Long will get the bulk of the innings. This will be Long's MLB debut, but the fact Littell is being used as the opener means Long might not see a ton of work. Littell has posted an impressive 1.65 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 14/5 K/BB ratio in 16 1/3 innings in San Francisco this season. Neither player is going to be much of a streaming option for Wednesday's slate.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
