Zack Wheeler Allows Four Runs In No-Decision Versus Giants
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler allowed four runs in 5 2/3 innings while taking a no-decision Tuesday against the Giants. Wheeler struck out six in the contest, but couldn't handle Giants catcher Buster Posey who took Wheeler deep twice. Wheeler hasn't been overly good since tossing seven shutout innings in his first start, but he hasn't gotten killed either allowing three or four runs in each start. He's generating swinging strikes at a 10.8 percent rate which is in line with his career average and he's been saddled with a .317 BABIP through four starts. Fantasy managers should stick with Wheeler even with a tougher matchup with St. Louis up next for the right-hander.
