4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler allowed two runs in seven innings and earned his third win of the season Sunday vs the Mets. Wheeler scattered six hits and a walk while striking out four on the afternoon. Through four starts, Wheeler is sporting a solid 2.89 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP, but hasn't been generating enough strikeouts to be a true fantasy standout. His 11 percent strikeout rate is near the bottom of the league, but Wheeler did average a strikeout per inning last season so he should start generating more K's. The right-hander is a solid SP3 in fantasy and is worth starting vs a depleted Braves lineup next time out.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
