Zack Wheeler Off To Strong Start With Phillies

4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler is off to a good start with his new team and had another strong effort vs the Braves on Saturday. Wheeler allowed just two runs in seven innings and had a season-high eight strikeouts. Unfortunately for Wheeler and his fantasy owners, the Phillies gas can of a bullpen cost him the win, but it's hard to complain about what Wheeler has done after signing a 5-year deal with Philadelphia this offseason. The right-hander is 3-0 with a 2.76 ERA and 1.10 WHIP and has gone seven innings in three of five starts while never lasting less than 5 2/3 innings.
