3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler earned his eighth win of the year Friday, going seven strong innings against the Atlanta Braves. He gave up just one run on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight. It's a solid bounce-back for Wheeler, who had given up four earned runs in each of his previous two starts. Wheeler now has a 2.37 ERA and 1.01 WHIP with 160 strikeouts in 132 2/3 innings this season. He's the league leader in innings pitched and certainly appears to have earned his place among the top 20 fantasy starters, at worst.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
