4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler allowed three runs on eight hits in six innings pitched Monday vs the Mets. Unfortunately, the Phillies bullpen cost Wheeler a win, but he did record seven strikeouts and didn't allow a walk to produce a good start for fantasy. Wheeler hasn't been the flashiest pitcher, but he is yet to allow more than three runs in any start and has gone at least six innings in six of eight starts. In a year with so much variance at starting pitcher, fantasy managers can rely on Wheeler to have a high-floor week-after-week.
