4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starter Zack Wheeler (fingernail) threw a bullpen session on Monday afternoon. There have been no updates on the success of the session, but if all went well, Wheeler would likely pitch later this week. The 30-year-old suffered the flukey injury while pulling up his pants. Thankfully, he did not need to go on the injured list, and the desperate Phillies will want him back as soon as possible for their playoff push.
