2 years agoOn Saturday, Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler, reinstated from the paternity list on Friday, went six solid innings pitched and allowed only two hits while striking out eight in the Phillies' 4-0 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Wheeler improved to 5-3 on the season, Ellen Adair danced and the Phillies won their ninth straight game as they remain red-hot along with the Atlanta Braves in the National League East. On the season, the Phillies ace now owns a 2.84 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 75 strikeouts over 63 1/3 innings and 11 starts. Wheeler remains a must-start option in all fantasy formats.
