4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler threw 6 2/3 scoreless innings with six strikeouts and earned his fourth win of the season Wednesday vs the Nationals. Wheeler hasn't been the flashiest pitcher for fantasy managers, but he is yet to allow more than three earned runs in any start while putting up a strong 2.20 ERA with a 1.07 WHIP. He won't help much in the strikeout department as he has just 29 K's through 45 innings, but he usually delivers a quality start and has one of the highest floors of any starting pitcher. He's got a good matchup with the Mets lined up for Monday where he should be in starting lineups.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
