"Zero Chance" Steve Sarkisian Leaves
7 years agoAtlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said there is "zero chance" that offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian leaves the team to take the same position with the Seattle Seahawks next season, according to ESPN's Vaughn McClure. Sarkisian worked for Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll with USC. Seattle recently fired offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, who had been with the team for seven seasons. Sarkisian oversaw a competent offense in his first year in Atlanta, but it was mostly a step back from what they accomplished under Kyle Shanahan in 2016. Continuity will be good for the Falcons in 2018, especially for quarterback Matt Ryan, who regressed the most after his MVP campaign in 2016.
