MLB DFS Picks for 9/12/22
Spencer Strider more than 7.0 strikeouts - Strider has a solid matchup against the Giants tonight as they are posting the third-highest K rate against right-handers over the previous two weeks with a rate of 27.5%. Meanwhile, he has struck out at least eight in three of his previous four starts, including a 16(!) strikeout performance against the Rockies just two starts ago.
Alex Cobb more than 5.0 strikeouts - We will go right to the other side of the Giants vs. Braves matchup with Cobb as he has struck out at least six in two of his previous three starts and six of his previous nine starts. The Braves are also posting the highest k rate against righties over the previous two weeks with a rate of 28.7%.
Glenn Otto more than 4.0 strikeouts - This could be a bit dicey, but the matchup is right for Otto, who has struck out 13 batters over his previous 9 innings pitched while going over this total in each of his two starts. He will face the Marlins tonight, who have posted the second-highest K rate vs. right-handers with a rate of 28.1%. they are also posting just a 74 wRC+ and a 6.6% walk rate over that same span.
