Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NFL season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NFL, Single Stat consists of quarterback passing yards, running back rushing yards, and wide receiver receiving yards in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some PrizePicks for the Thursday Night Football game between the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans.

Fantasy Score and Single-Stat NFL Totals
Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for point per reception, meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.
Sam Darnold under 263.5 passing yards - While Darnold has gone over this total in each of his first two games in 2021, the Panthers faced two teams with stronger run defenses in the Jets and the Saints, respectively. Now, they will be facing the Texans who have given up 215 rushing yards to running backs over the first two weeks, which is ranked in the bottom 10 of the league thus far. They also allowed the most rushing yards to backs in 2020 by allowing over 145 rushing yards per game. Add in the fact that the Panthers are 7.5-point favorites and this figures to be a game where Christian McCaffrey does a large portion of the work.
Christian McCaffrey over 84.5 rushing yards - This should be a great spot for CMC as the Texans have allowed 215 rushing yards to running backs over the previous two weeks. Just last week, Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt combined for 146 rushing yards on 24 carries, which averages out to over six yards per carry. McCaffrey has seen 24 and 21 rushing attempts in his first two games, respectively, and has a combined 170 rushing yards in those two games. He should get plenty of attempts in this one as well considering the aforementioned spread in this game.
Brandin Cooks over 68.5 receiving yards - While the Panthers' pass defense has been superb thus far as they have only allowed wide receivers to post 245 receiving yards in their first two games, this is the best player on Houston's offense at the moment. Over the previous two weeks, Cooks has seen 21 targets and hauled in 14 of them for 210 receiving yards and a touchdown. While the matchup will be tough for him this week, he will be the focal point of a passing attack that will likely be busy given the Vegas projections.
Other Recommendations: D.J. Moore over 5.5 receptions, David Johnson over 6.5 fantasy score, Christian McCaffrey over .5 rushing touchdowns, Brandin Cooks over 5.5 receptions
Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
