PrizePicks NFL DFS Prop Picks - Rams vs. Seahawks Thursday Night Football

Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NFL season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NFL, Single Stat consists of quarterback passing yards, running back rushing yards, and wide receiver receiving yards in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some PrizePicks for the Thursday Night Football game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Score and Single-Stat NFL Totals

Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for point per reception, meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.

Matthew Stafford over 299.5 passing yards - This game sets up nicely for Stafford to have a huge day as the Rams enjoy throwing the ball. He has attempted nearly 34 passes per game and has thrown for over 1,200 yards on the season thus far. He will be going up against a Seahawks' defense that has allowed nearly 311 passing yards per game to quarterbacks so far in 2021, which is ranked third-worst in the league. Seattle also has a trio of weapons in their offense who are capable of scoring quickly and could push this game into a shootout as it is already projected to score a total of 54.5 points.

Cooper Kupp over 84.5 receiving yards - It should make sense to pair Stafford with his favorite target in this as Kupp has garnered a total of 46 targets and hauled in 30 of them for 431 receiving yards. He has eclipsed this total in three of the Rams' first four games. He gets a matchup vs. a Seattle secondary that has allowed 735 receiving yards and six touchdowns to the wide receiver position. He should be in a great spot for this one.

D.K. Metcalf under 72.5 receiving yards - It is always tough to take an under on such a dynamic player like D.K. Metcalf, but this Rams secondary is no joke. He will likely have to contend with Jalen Ramsey who is one of the top corners in the league. Metcalf has only eclipsed this total once in 2021 and failed to reach it in two of three games against the Rams in 2020. In two regular-season games vs. the Rams in 2020, Metcalf only managed to haul in a combined eight catches for 87 yards. This game likely sets up to be more of a Chris Carson and Tyler Lockettkind of game.

Other Recommendations: Cooper Kupp over 21.0 fantasy score, Tyler Lockett over 16.0 fantasy score, Russell Wilson over 275.5 passing yards

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
